Position Overview:
The Forwarding Management Team Leader Iberia will oversee and be accountable for maritime operations based in Valencia, ensuring the seamless management of forwarding services within the Iberian Peninsula. This critical leadership role operates within the Ocean division of CEVA Freight Espana S.L., focused on executing effective logistics strategies related to sea freight. Situated in Valencia, Av. Aragón, the role demands a strong ability to harmonise operational activities and foster a high-performance team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the forwarding operations team to achieve operational excellence in maritime logistics within the Iberia region.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor ocean freight forwarding activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations, and international maritime standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction in ocean operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate streamlined processes and address operational challenges proactively.
• Oversee shipment tracking, documentation, customs clearance processes, and coordination with ports to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Develop and implement strategies aligning with the company’s overall logistics objectives, leveraging expertise in air and ocean freight operations.
• Utilise data analysis and performance metrics to monitor team productivity and identify opportunities for optimisation.
• Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team culture, nurturing professional growth and continuous learning among team members.
• Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental policies are adhered to within operational activities.

Candidate Profile:
We seek motivated, detail-oriented professionals with a strong background in maritime logistics and forwarding operations. Leadership experience in managing teams and operational projects within ocean freight is essential. Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a customer-focused mindset will be valuable assets in this role. Fluency in Spanish and English is advantageous for effective collaboration across the region.
