Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage operational staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, compensation recommendations, and ongoing performance management to build a high-performing team at the operator/administrator level.
  • Oversee the processing and review of account management documentation, data entry, and related operational records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide detailed analysis, interpretation, and professional guidance regarding account management policies, programs, and practices to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead the implementation and management of standard and large-scale operational initiatives, coordinating resources and responses to address client and management inquiries effectively.
  • Analyze account operation trends, interpret data findings, and present actionable recommendations to management and clients to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Maintain integrity and accuracy of operational databases and account information through regular audits and reconciliations, collaborating cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in developing and managing project objectives, including budget oversight, timeline management, material procurement, and personnel allocation within defined scopes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable departmental policies, laws, regulations, and procedural guidelines, seeking guidance as necessary to uphold governance standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to operational challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related functional area.
  • Intermediate proficiency in business communication in English, capable of conducting business discussions effectively.
  • Professional experience in account management: less than two years for junior roles; two to five years for intermediate roles; and at least five years with specialized or technical program experience for senior roles.
  • Strong knowledge of account management principles, organizational policies, and compliance requirements applicable to logistics and transportation operations.
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills including staff assessment and recommendations, with a focus on team development and performance enhancement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and competency in operating both individually and collaboratively within team environments.
  • Excellent analytical skills to review operational data, extract insights, and support evidence-based decision-making.

Scope and Impact:
This role applies standard professional principles and may engage in complex operations within logistics and transportation management. The Senior Supervisor handles a broad scope of responsibilities, including oversight of moderate to large-scale operations, ensuring high standards of service delivery and operational compliance. The position supports strategic goals and contributes significantly to client satisfaction and efficiency enhancements.
