YOUR ROLE
Are you passionate about Health, Safety, and Environment topics? Do you want to make a real impact on building a strong safety culture within a global logistics company? If so, you may be the HSE Specialist / Local IMS Coordinator we are looking for.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Fulfil the duties of the HSE service as defined by Polish law (Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 2 September 1997 on the occupational health and safety service and subsequent amendments).
• Conduct HSE training sessions and thematic safety panels for managerial and operational staff.
• Initiate and coordinate activities aimed at improving health, safety, fire protection, and environmental standards.
• Actively promote and build a strong safety culture within the organization.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with internal HSE, environmental, and fire safety procedures.
• Cooperate with public control authorities and participate in inspections.
• Participate in projects related to occupational risk reduction.
• Prepare and update internal HSE documentation, including risk assessments, workplace instructions, and procedures.
• Lead accident investigations and prepare relevant documentation.
• Collaborate closely with operational departments to support daily safety initiatives.
• Update the list of chemicals used on-site and ensure the correct selection of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Issue waste transfer cards in the BDO system.
• Collect data for corporate HSE and environmental reports.
• Support corporate QSHE initiatives within the CEVA Logistics Group.
• Maintain and oversee documentation related to the Integrated Management System (IMS).
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Higher education or postgraduate studies in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Practical knowledge of HSE and fire protection regulations; knowledge of environmental regulations will be an asset.
• Good understanding of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Driving license – category B.
• English language skills at least at B2 level.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills, reliability, and accountability.
