CEVA Freight Espana S.L. is seeking a dedicated Logistics Operations Professional to join our Air Operations team based in Barajas-FM Barajas. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of air freight logistics across the Iberian region.

Role Summary:
As a Logistics Operations Professional, you will be responsible for supporting and managing daily operations within the air logistics division. You will coordinate and optimize freight handling, maintain accurate communication with various stakeholders, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This position is vital for sustaining excellent service delivery, meeting deadlines, and maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operational activities related to air freight logistics across Iberia, ensuring efficient turnaround times and optimal resource utilisation.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, liaising with internal departments and external partners including airlines, customs authorities, and ground handling agents.
• Oversee the implementation and adherence to safety, security, and regulatory compliance requirements applicable to air freight operations.
• Monitor and manage documentation processes, such as waybills, shipping instructions, and customs paperwork, to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and troubleshoot operational issues proactively to minimise disruptions and enhance workflow continuity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and optimise operational procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the organisation’s competitive advantage.

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for individuals with a strong background or interest in air freight logistics and operations. Prior experience in logistics or supply chain environments, especially within air cargo handling or freight forwarding, will be highly valued. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and effective communication abilities in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in logistics operations, preferably in air freight or multimodal transportation.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks impacting air cargo such as IATA rules, customs regulations, and security protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills in Spanish and English for seamless coordination with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with freight management and logistics software is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently handle assigned responsibilities.

Working Environment and Contract Details:
This position is currently offered as a substitution covering IT leave, maternity, lactation, and vacation periods for Elisa Mcpherson. The contract will be based in our Barajas facility, providing an engaging workplace in a well-connected location.
