In line with the strong commitment of CMA CGM around Sustainability, CEVA Logistics is investing into developing Pan-European Reverse Battery Logistics capabilities.

EV Battery recycling industry is growing steadily, unlocking new challenges related to restrictive & evolving regulatory environment. This fast-moving market is suffering from a lack of compliant capabilities and requires further data traceability and reliability.

CEVA develops & offers compliant Used Battery Logistics services with highest standards regarding to regulatory and safety considerations. Our network of Battery Logistics Centers across Europe (Belgium, France / Spain / UK / Central Europe to be) are compliant & scalable solutions for production scrap, aftermarket, second & end-of-life batteries, which services ranging from handling, consolidation, storage, battery diagnosis, dismantling and repackaging.

We are looking to enlarge our team to develop our data management approach related to used batteries supply chain.

 

We are looking for a highly motivated and business-oriented IT Product Development Senior Manager to lead the creation and deployment of a comprehensive system and data-driven solution for managing the supply chain and performance of used batteries. This role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing digital solutions around the battery recycling industry, including real-time tracking, recycling performance monitoring, CO2 impact assessments, and “in-life” battery management (diagnosis, data-based recommendations).

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our solutions are compliant, efficient, and meet the sustainability needs of our automotive and industrial partners.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

 

  • Overarching Data management strategy - Deploy an approach that supports the efficient and compliant supply chain design of used batteries throughout their lifecycle.
  • Solution Design & Data Management – Design & implement a transport planning solution compliant with evolving European regulations, aimed at optimizing costs and reducing CO2 impact throughout the entire lifecycle of the batteries
  • End-to-End Product Supervision - Manage traceability and compliance over the full lifecycle of the battery supply chain solution (including transportation, storage, dismantling, repackaging, and recycling)
  • Recycling Performance Monitoring - Oversee the development of business solutions to monitor and report on the performance of battery recycling processes
  • CO2 Impact & Sustainability - Work on the integration of CO2 impact assessments into the product offering, collaborating with the sustainability teams to ensure the business solutions correctly assess the impact on the planet, and value the CO2 cuts
  • “In-Life” Battery Management - Develop solutions to track and manage the performance of “in-life” batteries, leveraging data to extend battery lifetime and to lead best recommendations regarding battery next stage of life (repair / re-purpose / recycle)

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • College or university degree in related functional area or equivalent education and experience is often accepted
  • Business sense and product management skills, ideally in a supply chain, sustainability, or recycling-related industry.
  • Strong background in developing data-driven business solutions and managing the full lifecycle of product development, from ideation to deployment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and sustainability.
  • Experience in developing customer-centric solutions that enhance operational efficiency and/or contribute to sustainability goals.
  • Agile and ambitious mindset, eager to learn and enthusiastic to embark on a journey in a greenfield / blue ocean product
  • Familiarity with supply chain design, traceability systems, and performance management tools is a plus
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), with strong communication skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.

 

Desired Experience & Background:

 

  • Ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope business requirements, manage risks appropriately and effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/programs
  • Result-Oriented person with a proven track record of on-time project/program delivery for large, cross-functional projects with global stakeholders
  • Self-starter capable to take initiative and work with minimal direction
  • Min. 5-year experience as Consultant, Product Development of Product Manager
