YOUR ROLE

As a Transport Operations Administrator within our Ground Transport team, you’ll provide essential operational, administrative and compliance support to ensure our transport activities run safely, smoothly and in line with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and customer requirements.

Working closely with Transport Supervisors, Fleet Controllers and Operators, you’ll support day-to-day operational tasks, maintain key processes and systems, and contribute to improvements that strengthen efficiency, service and compliance across the network.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

• Support daily transport operations and administrative functions
• Maintain and improve operational processes to reduce duplication and enhance efficiency
• Coordinate tasks that ensure ongoing CoR compliance for the transport function
• Assist with consignment creation, management and manifesting
• Manage activities linked to demurrage, FMS, ELO scanning and runsheet audits
• Support enquiries related to transport operations, CODs and aged COD investigations
• Assist with customer requirements and general operational needs
• Provide accurate and timely information to internal and external stakeholders
• Promote a culture focused on safety, service and operational excellence.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You’ll have practical experience in transport and a strong understanding of operational processes. You’re organised, confident working with systems and committed to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also have:

• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage across different levels
• Good time-management skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks
• A calm, professional approach when working under pressure
• A customer-focused mindset with a reliable, can-do attitude
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
