YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Ocean Export Coordinator to join our Air & Ocean team based in Banksmeadow, NSW.
In this role, you’ll manage the end-to-end export process across Full Container Load (FCL) and Less-than-Container Load (LCL) shipments. You’ll coordinate with carriers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure cargo moves efficiently, compliantly and profitably - all while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
- Source and negotiate carrier rates and space allocations to optimise margin and service outcomes
- Build LCL consolidations and manage FCL bookings, ensuring cut-offs and documentation deadlines are met
- Prepare export documentation including bills of lading, customs declarations and shipping instructions
- Coordinate pick-up, depot and wharf receivals, working closely with the Transport Allocator to manage container flows
- Handle reefer, temperature-controlled and healthcare cargo in compliance with WHO-GDP and IMDG standards
- Validate supplier invoices, raise accruals and issue customer invoices, maintaining file profitability
- Communicate proactively with customers, carriers and CEVA branches worldwide to resolve issues quickly
- Participate in audits and maintain accurate electronic records in CEVA’s freight management systems.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate has a solid background in international freight forwarding and thrives in a dynamic team environment. You will also have:
- Experience gained in ocean import and/or export operations
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, SOLAS-VGM and export customs procedures
- Proficiency in CargoWise or similar freight management systems
- Proven ability to negotiate with carriers and coordinate complex shipment schedules
- Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills
- IMDG certification or vocational qualification in logistics/supply chain (highly regarded).
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
