RESPONSIBILITIES

 

To provide quotations to customers and follow up. Act as support and backup for the Account Manager.

 

Develop and increase volumes in defined Sales Segment and coordinator sales tasks within the organisation.

 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS 

 

  • Handle quotation requests received by the Account Manager and customers within KPI

  • Support Customers in the utilization of  the web platform & online account requests

  • Actively promote CMA CGM Group Services and Non-Maritime products (e-commerce, VAS, intermodal, CEVA…)

  • Request DDSM exception and update info into the system

  • Monitor quotations pending from line

  • Relay other requests from customers to Customer Care

  • Back-up for Outside Sales or Inside Sales

  • Create, update and follow up quotations on a dedicated portfolio of customer

  • Log Opportunities handles in NOVA to create a pipeline

  • Ensure bookings are freighted according to agreed rates and DDSM on workflow report

  • Contribute to dispute resolution

  • Actively work on clearing the Bookings that our freighting team are unable to freight (using NVR Report distributed daily)

  • Negotiate with Head Office Pricer through AQUA to secure competitive pricing to develop volumes/revenue

  • Coordinate with agency trade manager to ensure focus on trade priority

  • Maintain and develop strong lasting relationships with customers to generate volume/ revenue

  • Monitor e-mails received by account manager each day, carry out whatever actions are needed from Sales.

  • Assist in preparation of tender figures for annual contracts

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

 

  • Must have a good telephone manner when speaking to customers

  • Pro-active/Can-do attitude

  • Previous Sales coordinator experience

  • Confident to build customer relationships

  • Excellent Communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Excellent time management and prioritising skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
