About the Role:
Reporting to: Customer Service Supervisor
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Work Location: Auckland, New Zealand
As a Customer Servicce Representative you will be responsible to receive and process bookings (in accordance with the Group’s procedures), process and prepare documentation, prepare load lists.
The role and responsibilities will include:
- Overview and monitor the available space on each sailing and ensure bookings received are trending towards the targeted lifting’s for the relevant sailing
- Inform the customer of any shortcomings based on their initial booking requirement.
- Liaise with oversees Agents to resolve any issues which may have been raised by customer.
- Assist with customer enquiries on space availability and allocations
- Assist with customer reporting as required
- Contribute to a culture within the customer care group of providing solutions and anticipating problems
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1-2 years of experience in shipping company environment or freight forwarding would be beneficial
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain/Logistics/International Business are preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to foster relationships with customers
- Strong analytical skills with good time management and ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
- Ability to work independently with a minimal supervision
- Strong organisational and administration skills
