About the Role: 

 

An incredible opportunity has become available in Auckland for a sales-driven professional to join our team.

 

Reporting to the Sales Support Supervisor, the Sales Support Coordinator will be responsible for efficient processing of internal sales support and customer management via performance monitoring against KPI’s via freight quotations and growth of company value added services.
 

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Handle external/internal pricing inquiries for all trades including over dimensional, out of gauge, and hazardous cargoes
  • Support the outside/inside sales team to achieve the targeted market coverage and actively perform customer follow up
  • Support customers with the use of digital platform – My Prices
  • Promote CMA CGM Group Services and Non-Maritime products - E-commerce, VAS, Intermodal, CEVA
  • To ensure that when all bookings are received by the customer services team that a clearly identifiable valid SQ reference is in the system ready for processing
     

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in telemarketing and internal sales is highly regarded
  • Experience in a customer service/sales support role within the shipping or related industry
  • Have strong passion for Sales 
  • Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of duties
  • Strong interpersonal skills with logical and analytical thinking
  • Highly organized, Self motivated with ability to plan and co-ordinate workflows and performance effectively and without supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
