Assistant(e) Commercial Pricer Intra Caraïbes (H/F)

YOUR MISSIONS

The Intra-Caribbean Commercial Pricer Assistant is responsible for establishing the pricing grids for a portfolio of Lines that they monitor in real-time: POL / POD, routings, and container types, while integrating the competitive environment and ensuring a positive contribution for each Line used. The position holder will also be required to support Sales activities.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

In this role, you will be required to:

Pricing:

Regularly create or update pricing grids for the routes under your pricing responsibility.
Define and update the freight rates proposed for the geographical area under your charge.
Maintain an archive of your quotations and their statistics.
Analyze the market and main competitors on the relevant routes in relation to the information provided by the concerned agents.
Participate in the development of profitability parameters for these routes.
Calculate the maximum negotiation margins for large clients, in liaison with your hierarchy.
Ensure responses to Tenders within your scope are within the deadlines.
Analyze and share the results of Competitive Pricing Intelligence.
Guarantee the proper configuration of the pricing tools under your responsibility.
Ensure compliance with specific procedures in place on certain routes (Filing US/SQ) in case of Booking.
Adapt to changes in the pricing software used, to master the tools necessary for the analysis and optimization of rates.

Customer Relations:

Respond to quotation requests and complaints from agencies and sales representatives, providing advice, support, and solutions tailored to customer needs.
Participate in customer communication, promoting the image, offer, and values of the CMA CGM Group.
Manage the accounts under your responsibility in accordance with the Agency's customer segmentation.
Contribute to and ensure compliance with the Agency's commercial KPIs.
Participate in regular meetings with other Agents in the intra-Caribbean zone. The position holder will also be required to support commercial activities.

REPORTING LINE

The position reports to the Sales Manager.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a passionate and committed professional. You are our ideal candidate if you have:

Degrees & Experience:

Higher education in International Trade / Transport / Logistics
Computer and system requirements: Proficiency in office / IT tools
Language: English (mandatory)
Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in the maritime transport sector or in a similar function

Mastery of pricing methods and tools
Analytical and synthesis skills
Rigor in work and behavior

Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and negotiate
