Equipment Officer (Temporary Position)

NAME: Equipment Officer

DEPARTMENT: Operations

LINE MANAGER: Equipment & Logistics Supervisor

 

MISSION:

 

Manage equipment stocks & provisions for a determined area within the Agency and regarding the logistics strategy set by the Group.

 

INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS: All CMA CGM Iberica Departments, HO, Other Agencies.

EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS: Depots, terminals, transport suppliers

 

FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Analyze and manage stocks (Track and monitor idle units)
  • Consolidate and provide report for equipment forecasts & availability
  • Organize empty repositioning
  • Follow bookings to anticipate provision needs
  • Release & redeliver equipment
  • Coordinate container on hire / off hire / sublease / sales Supervise and assist SSC in tracking activities
  • Manage Seal Stock
  • Assist SSC in invoice validation whenever necessary
  • Empty booking creation
