YOUR ROLE
Under the responsibility of the Cluster General Manager, you will play an integral role in a strategic market for CMA CGM, handling all cluster-related activities for the shipping agency. As the Group’s representative in the country, you will promote its image and interests.
You will add value to the Global Experience Network, Head Office and Regional Office by identifying growth opportunities and strategic projects aligned with the Group’s overall vision.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
You’ll work closely with the Cluster General Manager and the Global Experience Network Department to drive the implementation of the Group’s strategy and policies:
• Beyond daily agencies management, you’ll define and implement the agency operational and strategic plan to drive growth and optimize operations.
• You’ll support the implementation of the Cluster organization and strategy in the Daughter agency, acting as a relay for the Cluster Functional Managers in case of dysfunction.
• You’ll monitor and enhance financial performance, ensuring budget adherence, KPI achievement, and effective P&L management.
• You’ll ensure the commercial activity achieves targets agreed with the Cluster, Lines and Regional Office, monitors the market and suggests solutions to detect and develop business opportunities.
• You’ll promote customer intimacy and facilitate market agility providing a harmonious end-to-end journey for our customers and using best in class innovative solutions and enhanced processes implemented globally.
• In the context of organizational transformation, you’ll promote eCommerce solutions and more globally digitalization within the agency.
• As a key leader, you’ll represent the Group to local authorities, industry bodies, and institutions. You’ll maintain direct contact with key decision-makers to identify opportunities and regulatory changes impacting the Group. Additionally, you’ll proactively help shape the local business environment and strengthen the Group’s position through forums, committees, institutional partnerships, among others.
• You will implement Internal Audit recommendations and coordinate with the Cluster and Regional Office to report any fraud suspicions to the relevant HO departments.
• You will oversee the management of local workforce in compliance with local labor and social regulations, enliven all the teams and ensure their development.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
At least 5 to 10 years of shipping industry experience across shipping or transportation industry, including international exposure with a multinational organization.
• Work experience in matrix environment in large international organizations would be ideal. Work experience with french territories preferably
• Knowledge of Commercial and/or Operations functions will be an advantage.
• Ability to engage a diversity of stakeholders at various levels, strong communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity with the ability to hear everyone’s opinions.
• Those open for global mobility and international careers across the group will be preferred
• Ethics, integrity and respect for the confidentiality of information.
• English fluent and french preferably
