Compliance Engineer - Maintenance

Already equipped with a fleet of 6x long-haul aircraft (4x A330-200F and 2x B777F), CMA CGM AIR CARGO is on an ambitious mission to continue to grow its current fleet with the acquisition of new freighters.

CMA CGM AIR CARGO has already confirmed orders for 4x Airbus A350 freighters and will become the world’s first airline to launch and operate this state of the art cargo aircraft.

As part of its development, CMA CGM AIR CARGO is looking for a Compliance Engineer attached to the maintenance department.  

 

RESPONSABILITIES

Within a fast-growing cargo airline and in a dynamic environment, under the supervision of the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:

Security:

  • Implement and oversee the company's Part M and Part 145 monitoring program and associated subcontracting.
  • Verify and validate toolkits documents related to Part M and Part 145.
  • Analyze and monitor events related to maintenance safety.
  • To set up maintenance safety studies, investigation and root cause analysis and issue recommendations.
  • Finally, to develop communication and awareness around maintenance issues.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with regulations of internal procedures, tools used, and work methods applied.
  • Prepare and conduct internal audits and follow up on the resulting discrepancies.
  • Support the business teams in the selection and supervision of subcontractors and in the drafting of procedures.
  • Participation in structuring projects led by the compliance team.

 

SKILLS AND COMPETEN CES

  • Aeronautical Engineer background ; 
  • A good knowledge of the applicable regulations in the fields of Maintenance (Part M, Part CAMO, Part 145, IOSA) is required ;
  • Mastery of the pack office ; 
  • Fluent in English ;
  • Rigor, autonomy, adaptability and reactivity.
