POSITION PURPOSE

 

MANAGE THE PORTS OPERATION, LOGISTICS, AND INTERMODAL DEPARTMENTS. ENSURE EXCELLENT BACKGROUND TO THE COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY-GROUP THROUGH AN EFFICIENT OPERATION OF THE EQUIPMENT IN THE REGION, AN ACCURATE AND TIMELY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A PRECISE VESSELS OPERATION IN MEXICAN PORTS. DULY DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF REQUIRED PROCEDURES AMONG ALL THE AREAS RELATED. CONDUCTS AND OVERSSES PROJECTS AND STUDIES REGARDING SAVINGS PRACTICES, COST-BENEFIT, MARKETING TRENDS, SALES, ETC.

JOINTHLY WITH THE RESPONSIBLE AREAS ANALYZE AND EVALUATES EFFECTIVINESS OF ALL OPERATIONS WITHIN THE REGION. DEVELOPS AND IMPLEMENTS OPERATIONAL PLANS, POLICIES AND GOALS THAT FURTHER CMA-CMG STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES.

SUPPORT GENERAL MANAGER WITH MARKETING ACTIVITIES, PREPARING PRESENTATIONS AND ARRANGING THE PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERACTIONS TO ENHANCE THE COMPANY’S IMAGE

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

 

  1. INTEGRATES AND MONITORS THE FULFILLMENT OF THE ANNUAL BUDGET & BUSINESS PLAN FOR THE AREA
  2. ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SYSTEMS, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AND QUALITY STANDARDS STABLISHED BY THE HQ
  3. DEFINE AND/OR KEEP UP DATE THE SERVICES STANDARDS FOR THE OPERATIONS VENDORS, WITHIN THE COUNTRY
  4. DEVELOP AND REGISTER IN WRITING THE RELEVANT PROCEDURES RELATED TO THE AREA
  5. ELABORATES AND CONDUCTS DIVERS PROJECTS ANALISIS, COORDINATION AND FOLLOW-UP
  6. PREPARES, ORGANIZES AND PARTICIPATES IN COMMUNITY AFFAIRES NECESSARY TO ENHANCE THE CMA-CGM REGIONAL IMAGE
  1. PURSUE THAT THE SYSTEMS HAS THE NECESSARY TOOLS AND ACCURATE INFORMATION TO SUPPORT THE REGIONAL TARGETS
  2. ENSURE THAT ALL THE PERSONAL IN THE AREA FULFILL ACCURATE AND TIMELY THE DUTIES ASSIGNED TO THEM
  3. CONSTANTLY LOOK FOR OPPORTUNITY WINDOWS IN THE REGION AND CONSOLIDATE THEM AS IMPROVEMENTS ENSURE THE TIMELY AND ACCURATE FULFILLMENT OF THE FLEET OPERATION TARGETS (TURN ARROUND TIMES, INVENTORIES INTEGRITY, M&R COSTS, ETC),
  4. ENSURE TIMELY, ACURATE AND HIGH-QUALITY PURSUANCE OF THE SERVICES OFFERED TO OUR COSTUMERS
