Cargo Readiness Officer

As a result of expanding our organization, we are currently looking for a Cargo Readiness Officer to join our fast-growing and challenging organization.

 

Role:

Manages local export cargo loadings by being more proactive, reducing rollover/shortfall, increasing vessel filling factor, and increasing data integrity with corporate tools and reports.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers and re-confirm the loading intention of their bookings,
  • Perform pre-call cleaning, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted (customs, operations, destinations customs, like VGM, SI, DG Forms, etc) before loading export cargo,
  • Journey Leg Controls,
  • Routing Controls,
  • Monitor and update FCL cut-off in I-Cut-Off,
  • Updating all reports related to business,
  • Manage cut instructions,
  • Manage all activities caused by operational contingencies,
  • Entry point for operations matters within Customer Care Direction,
  • Analyze KPIs and identify customer behavior patterns to decide on readiness eventually.

 

Qualifications and skills:

  • Graduate or post-graduate level in Logistic Transport or International Trade
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal,
  • Min +2 years experience in a similar role,
  • Good computer skills,
  • Good communication skills,
  • Risk detection and prevention skills,
