Equipment Officer

As a result of expanding our organization, we are currently looking for Logistics (Equipment) Officer to join our fast growing and challenging organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock optimization and equipment flows to support commercial activities of a determined geographical area with a cost-oriented approach.
  • Consolidate and provide reports for equipment forecasts & availability; organize empty repositioning
  • Control & follow-up of container tracking performance
  • Track & monitor containers’ idle empty status
  • Manage on-time, proactive, and accurate communication flow with internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to support process improvement activities

 

Qualifications:

  • University degree, preferably in Logistics Management
  • At most 2-3 years of experience in the field of shipping & logistics
  • Very good command of written and spoken English
  • Very good in follow-up
  • Customer oriented
  • Self motivated and dedicated to work
  • Result-oriented
  • Strong in planning and organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
