YOUR ROLE
Reporting hierarchically to the Managing Director and functionally to the Regional CCO, your mission is to align the company's customer-centric strategies with its overall business goals, driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth in the shipping industry.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
- Set up, organize, and drive sales teams to follow up the customer portfolio and identify growth opportunities within their area.
- Develop commercial activities according to the objectives set by the Group
- Validate and challenge business action plan developed by Sales Manager
- Implement management tools to follow sales teams’ performances as per the group strategy, and proactively implementing corrective actions when necessary
- Promote products and services to customers and prospects
- Analyze market statistics on a regular basis and report to the General Management and teams based in Regional Office
- Excellent analytical skills (statistics, market trends, economic data, etc.)
- Strong sense of rigor, organization, proactivity, self-control, punctuality, interpersonal ease, boldness and creativity, leadership, communication, and influence
- Good negotiation skills

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Preferably master's degree (Bac +5) specializing in Transport and Logistics, Marketing and Sales, Economics and Management, or Statistics
- At least ten (10) years of professional experience in a similar role with proven results
- Solid knowledge of the shipping industry and significant experience in liner shipping
- Strong management and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex business scenarios to customers, senior leadership, and middle management
- Demonstration of professional demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to manage stress through challenging situations
- Analytical mindset with ability to use data to dive decision making
- High levels of rigor, organization, proactivity, self-control, punctuality, interpersonal skills, boldness, creativity, leadership, communication, and influence.
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Bilingual French/English (Listen, spoken and written).
