Outside Sales - CMA CGM Cape Verde

YOUR ROLE
The Outside Sales Officer is responsible for prospecting and acquiring new clients by actively engaging with potential clients outside the office or company premises. You will build relationships, organize meetings, and present product or service offerings to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s client portfolio.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
- Participating in the development of the sales action plan.
- Planning and conducting sales visits and phone calls according to the agency’s commercial segmentation (primarily sales visits for external sales / primarily phone calls for internal sales).
- Promoting the services of the CMA CGM Group and non-maritime products.
- Identifying market opportunities, developing market share, and/or enhancing revenue in line with the commercial strategy.
- Updating commercial data and client feedback in dedicated tools.
- Achieving SVPC (Sales Visits Phone Calls) objectives and qualitative targets tracked in Analytics.
- Forwarding client quotation requests to the commercial support team and other client requests to customer service.
- Prepare presentations, communication documents, market studies or business plans for management and head office.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Preferably a degree in Transport and Logistics, Marketing and Sales, Statistics, or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the shipping industry.
- Three (03) years of professional experience in a similar role with significant results.
- Proficient in Pack office (especially Excel, advanced level).
- Excellent analytical skills (statistics, market data, economic data, etc.).
- Attention to detail, organization, proactivity, self-control, punctuality, strong interpersonal skills, boldness, creativity, communication, and influence.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Bilingual Portuguese/English
- Fluency in French is an advantage.
