At the centre of the shipping line, the outside sales officer ensures that our customers' goods are transported to the four corners of the world.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, your main goal will be to optimize the loading capactiry and available space on board of the vessels of which you are in charge.
Develop and manage a customer portfolio in a specified geographic area in accordance with Agency Business Plan Management; Sell products and services related to it, while promoting Group image and values.


- Identify commercial market opportunities and prospect and follow up customers in order to develop and monitor the customer’s portfolio.
- Sell the Group products and services and Non-maritime products (E-commerce,VAS, Intermodal, CEVA, ...) in compliance with the pricing policy.
- Receive, qualify in priority customers requests and process their requests.
- Plan and conduct commercial visit according to the commercial action plan and produce visit report.
- Ensure follow up on her/ his customers portfolio payment and contribute to recover unpaid debt.
- Participate in commercial events and develop a professional network within her/his commercial area.
- Participate in establishing the Commercial actions plan and ensure the right customer's segmentation is selected in her/ his area.
- Ensure update of commercial data in the information system.


Qualifications and Profile
Must have:
Preferably MBA in Sales, Marketing, and/ or a specialization in econometrics.
May prefer relevant working experience in shipping industry.
Good knowledge of shipping, port/ country regulations, legal and customs regulations and market practice.
Good communication and presentation skills in English (both writing and speaking).
Good command of IT Tools, MS Office, Dashboard etc.
Good interpersonal skills, proactive thinking, customer service oriented, sales techniques knowledge, commercial relations, and analytical skills will enable you to succeed in your daily tasks.
