THE ROLE

 

The HR Operations & People Analytics plays a pivotal role in supporting the full employee lifecycle with a focus on talent development, strategic HR support, and data-driven decision-making. This role is split across Talent Management & Learning, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partner support, with HR analytics embedded throughout to optimize processes, measure impact, and align HR initiatives with business goals.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

 

People Development & Learning

In conjunction with the People Development Lead-

  • Identify development & learning needs
  • Define, plan and facilitate learning offer (soft skills)
  • Identify the right external vendor at the right cost for training topics that are not available in-house
  • Liaise with government bodies as required for skills fund
  • Support business in designing business related training solutions
  • Coordinate the internal trainer community
  • Collaborate closely with HRBP and People Development Lead to assist with implementation of company’s talent development offer: COMPASS, Coaching, Job Shadowing, Mentoring, Self-Awareness tools etc
  • Facilitate employee onboarding session in collaboration with HRBP
  • Coordinate and facilitate the deployment of employee engagement actions 

Performance Management & People Review

  • Assist with performance management and people review campaign
  • Coordinate training for HRBP, managers and employees
  • Coordinate with HRBP to ensure timely completion and follow-up
  • Run analytics for Talent Management metrics and follow-up actions

Emerging talent

  • In conjunction with people development Lead, coordinate student office visits with internal speakers
  • Lead onboarding and engagement initiatives for emerging talents (lunch, terminal visit, hackathon etc)
  • Assist with building a strategy for University Partnerships 

Events, HR Communication, Projects

  • Promote an active Learning culture through internal Learning events and targeted employee communication
  • Collaborate with HRBP in organising and facilitating Talent Events
  • Coordinate the HR Communications across various employee groups and entities in Malaysia
  • Assist with Talent Acquisition as required 

Administration & Reporting

  • Book room, ensure invitation is sent to participants, room is set up and training material is available
  • Ensure post-learning feedback is collected and analysed
  • Ensure payment is processed for external vendor services
  • Record & maintain attendance for all trainings facilitated by L&D/HR team, external providers, or SMEs using the Group's TMS and MyHR
  • Provide report and dashboards to HR leadership and business stakeholders

Talent Acquisition

  • Partner with hiring managers to support end-to-end recruitment for junior roles, ensuring a diverse and efficient hiring process.
  • Leverage recruitment analytics (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness) to refine sourcing strategies and improve candidate experience.
  • Assist in employer branding initiatives and campus recruitment to attract early-career talent.

HR Business Partner Support

  • Act as a liaison between employees and HR, addressing queries related to policies, engagement, and career development.
  • Support HRBP projects (automation) by collecting and analyzing data (turnover etc.) to derive actionable insights.
  • Help implement employee experience initiatives (onboarding, automation etc.) and track their impact through retention and satisfaction metrics.

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

 

  • In accordance with the provisions of Article L122-1 of the French National Service Code, only candidates aged between 18 and 28 who are European nationals will be eligible for this VIE program
  • Master’s degree in HR or any related field
  • Previous experience in an HR department, ideally in an international and/or matrix environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English
