THE ROLE

 

 

Located in Le Havre, you shall comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations.

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

 

  • Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies.
  • Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis.
  • Implement quality, health, safety, security and environmental policies in force.
  • Provide technical assistance and recommendation in incident analysis or in related investigations.
  • Maintain close cooperation with administrations and maritime industry.
  • Represent QSSE marine department.
  • Ensure coordination during emergency situations and reporting to top management.
  • Participate in the Group management reviews with the DPA-CSO.
  • Maintain close cooperation with all departments.
  • Ensure that reporting is centralized.
  • Participate to set QHSSE KPI’s and make sure they are achieved.
  • Issue a feedback on main serious deviations and nautical incident reports.

 

 

 

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS 

 

 

  • Experience of minimum 8 years in shipping industry. 
  • Safety, security and environment knowledge (ISM, ISPS).
  • Training in ISM and ISO Internal auditor ans CSO.
  • Experience in accident investigation on board. 
  • Fluent in english both written and spoken. 
  • Management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a multitude of projects simultaneously.
