THE ROLE

 

Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

You shall : 

  • Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies.
  • Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis.
  • Follow-up the following QHSSE-related matters.
  • Ship audits and inspection.
  • Head office and shore departments’ audits.

 

Documents related to ship’s major accident

  • Maintain a record of all QHSSE-related documents (paper and/or electronic format) according to specific procedures (ISM, ISPS, MLC Codes and ISO certifications).
  • Assist with other safety and security matters.
  • Ensure the translation from English into French and inversely, of specialized QHSSE related documents.

 

Organize QHSSE trainings (ISM – ISPS- ISO familiarizations) performed by the SSE Department.

  • Make all travel arrangements for SSE Marine division and external auditors.

 

 

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS 
 

 

You have a bachelor’s degree and have already worked in maritime field. 
You are fluent in english both written and spoken.
You ideally have a previous experience as assistant and in safety management.
You already have done coordination of international travels.

You are able to manage various tasks and you have strong organizational skills.
You are able to identify when it is necessary to change priorities.
