VIE Financial Coordinator (M/F)- CMA CGM Angola

According to the provisions of Article L122-1 of the National Service Code, only candidates aged 18 to 28 and European nationals will be eligible for this proposed mission in the form of a VIE.

 

THE ROLE:

 

Based in Luanda and in coordination with the local Finance Department, you establish the budget and the financial projections of the sector.

In addition, you perform a complete and detailed analysis of all financial processes in order to harmonize them with those of the Group.

You assist the Finance Director in the daily production of financial information as well as in monthly reports.

You are hierarchically dependent on the Administrative and Financial Director.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

- Shaping and analyzing the public and private aged balance, D & D, freight and local charges; prepare a weekly report (meeting locally and CR at Head Office)
- Propose a recovery strategy, develop the necessary tools and implement it;
- Prepare reports and analyze customer accounts
- Implement, after approval by the General Manager or the Head Office, the customer discount measures;
- Organize and implement the collection of customer receivables, public and private;
- Monitor recovery, matching, and comparison with the annual target;
- Follow the BITs in relation with the doc billing team;
- Train and train the collection agents to develop the skill level;
- Maintain regular communication with the Head Office, Demurrage & Detention Department, to report on collection and propose adjustments or cleaning up of accounts.
 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & PROFILE:

Trained in Bac +5 you are specialized in Risk Management, Finance / Accounting and fluent in English and Portuguese.

 

You have a good knowledge in the analysis of data and diagnosis, recovery of debts, prevention and accounting and financial risks, audit and control as well as overall financial and economic knowledge.

 

You master the computer tool (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).

 

Excellent interpersonal skills, good adaptability to your environment, listening skills, humility, patience, managerial skills and autonomy are the essential skills for this position. In addition you like working in teams and field work.

 

Prior experience in sub-Saharan Africa would be an additional asset to succeed fully in this mission which is a stepping stone to a career within our Group.
