Container Administration Supervisor Philippines

Position Summary
Responsible for the overall equipment flow in Luzon including daily monitoring of inventory, container availability, manages delinquency and planning repositioning of excess empties at lowest possible cost.


Primary Accountabilities:

CY Operations

  • Plans and executes empty repositions from PH to other locations
    •  Analyze and manage stocks (Track and monitor idle empty
    • Organize empty repositioning
    • Release equipment
    • Redeliver equipment
  •  Provide evidence for 2nd Approval on empty storage & transport costs if required
  • Manages CPR for PH
    •  Consolidate and provide report for equipment forecasts & availability
  •  Manage Reuse / Street turn requests
  • Assist RO in depot service sourcing, procurement, benchmarking and audit
  • Implement depot allocation strategy
  • Depot visit auditory (process and security
  • Implement pick up drop off policy and invoicing

OPEX Cost / Agility

  • Assist Logistics manager on monitoring and reducing the Logs costs for the agency
  • Monitors the Agility / savings of the department 

M&R Activities

  • Ensuring M&R activities are in line with group policies
  • Repair and upgrade are within criteria of CMA CGM
  •  Conduct MNR audits
  •  MNR Review (Cost and Volume)

OTHERS:

  • Negotiates with vendor on trucking rate for ad hoc shipments – less than 10 teus
  • Negotiates with contractor to match existing disposal rate for condemned containers (accredited by Bu of Customs).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
•    Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role. Experience in container management and M&R activities is preferred.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Good communication and negotiation skills
•    Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
•    Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
