API Tech Lead

THE ROLE

The API Tech Lead will be part of the B2B Platform in CMA CGM Head Office in Marseilles. Within the IT Client Platforms department, you will have a transversal role on multiple digital applications and projects. You will federate the developers and manage software quality. You will act as a legitimate leader as well as a referent for tech teams to guide them towards this goal.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

-    Based on a strong experience and a continuous technology watch, you contribute to CMA CGM technical ecosystem
-    You evangelize through guidelines (documentation or automation) and presentations to other teams (Business, Production, Architecture…) 
-    You facilitate development by keeping technical environment efficient and consistent. For this you advocate in case of disagreement with external stakeholders
-    You maintain the API development framework and make it evolve constantly to meet existing and future needs
-    You contribute to most tricky problems solving and involve dev teams to help them become autonomous 
-    You are accountable for code/conception quality 
-    You take part in developments

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

-    You graduated from an Engineering school or in Computer Science 
-    You are a team player with leadership skills as well as a strong will and capability to coach / educate developers. 
-    You have experience in working in a multi-national fast paced environment dealing with stakeholders from all over the globe
-    You have at least 7 years of expertise in development preferably in several programming languages that make you legitimate among developers. 
-    You have a widespread IT culture ranging from architecture to devops.
-    You are an expert in Java Spring Boot and have strong experience managing a development framework
-    The Cloud feels like home to you, you master EKS and have experience with Terraform
-    You understand and can provide support and guidance for fullstack technologies from back to front.
-    You have skills in authentication (oauth2) and security (HTTPS, coding practices, certificates management…) 
-    Experience working with Kong is a plus
-    You understand technical aspects and practices of agility: XP, collective ownership… 
-    You are at ease in English and French
