THE ROLE

 

Within the Group Purchasing Department, the IT Software Purchaser pilots and coordinates the purchases within its scope of responsibility, in the context of major transformation projects and in conjunction with the Group's Information Systems Department.

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

In this context, your main missions are

 

  • Carry out the mapping of software contracts,
  • Participate in the development of purchasing strategies according to the needs and objectives of the company and its subsidiaries, and in consultation with internal customers and the software management department,
  • Manage the panel of software suppliers at the international level, and in particular monitor agreements and contracts,
  • Optimize costs: identify purchasing actions to reduce costs in conjunction with your internal customers, and implement progress in a logic of optimization of the overall cost of ownership,
  • Organize and manage consultations, conduct negotiations with suppliers
  • Evaluate and select the best suppliers for your purchasing family,
  • Develop and/or negotiate the contract in coordination with the legal department,
  • Manage the renegotiation of existing contracts,
  • Identify risks and opportunities related to suppliers, market, including changes in licensing policies and business models,
  • Carry out market benchmarks, purchase monitoring and sourcing,
  • Ensure the management and follow-up of purchases/contracts in the Purchasing tools.
  • Communicate to the various internal customers in the international subsidiaries the framework agreements/contracts from which they can benefit and encourage globalized purchases.
  • Participate in the rationalization, securing and industrialization of processes, methods and tools (SRM...) with a view to improving overall performance,
  • Participate in the implementation of a Purchasing culture and have Purchasing recognized as a real partner who creates value,
  • Communicate the reporting of actions -performance indicators, dashboards- to Management and relevant stakeholders.

 

 

 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

  • You have an engineering degree and have ideally specialized in the field of purchasing during your post-graduate studies. You also have a strong experience in software purchasing to better understand the problems of supplier management and the construction of IT commercial offers.
  • You are able to challenge both internal needs and supplier offers. You have conducted, through your various past experiences, strategic negotiations with the main software suppliers such as Microsoft, IBM, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Adobe, ServiceNow, etc.
  • You have a solid background in purchasing intellectual services allowing you to negotiate offers for integrators. You are familiar with all licensing models such as on premise, SaaS, PaaS.
  • Working in an international and multicultural environment, you are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and you have a good command of computer and office tools.
  • Your interpersonal skills, your communication skills and your leadership make you a high-level negotiator, capable of developing solid relationships with all stakeholders (internal customers, etc.).
  • You demonstrate a strong autonomy in the management of your daily missions, and you are rigorous, organized, proactive and reactive and a force of proposal (ability to challenge).
  • Results-oriented, you have good analytical, writing and summarizing skills and a taste for figures.
