THE ROLE:

 

At TANGRAM, a centre of excellence for training and innovation to create the sustainable transport and logistics of tomorrow, you will join the General Services team on the Campus. Reporting to Tangram's Head of General Services / Security / Safety and with the support (functional link) of the Administration & General Services Department at CMA CGM's head office in Marseille, you will be involved in the management and coordination of the operational and administrative functions that support all activities on the TANGRAM site.

 

Based at the TANGRAM site, you will participate in the supervision of operations and services offered at the site while responding to your manager's requests.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Participating in facilities management: overseeing maintenance, safety and helping to fit out the organisation's premises and equipment (while ensuring that facilities meet safety and functionality standards).
  • Participation in the management of contracts and service providers: working with suppliers and external service providers to monitor their work and carry out appropriate quality controls to optimise the quality of service; if necessary, participating in the drafting of invitations to tender in order to put in place recommendations that will facilitate decision-making; playing a facilitating role to ensure a good level of cooperation and coordination with TANGRAM's internal and external teams.
  • Participating in the management of supplies and equipment: overseeing the management of stocks and purchases of office supplies, furniture and equipment required for the smooth running of the organisation. It will also supervise any renovation and refurbishment work on work areas.
  • Participating in the implementation of best practices: exchanging with head office management (and drawing inspiration from other sites) and collaborating with surrounding departments within CMA CGM to implement and disseminate best practices.
  • Participation in regulatory compliance: ensuring that all General Services activities comply with current regulations and head office directives and procedures in the areas of purchasing, finance, ethics, quality, safety, etc.
  • Participating in innovation and continuous improvement: identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement to optimise the efficiency and quality of general services. Studying the introduction of an EPC and being proactive in the CSR initiative.
  • In short, to be one of the two guarantors of impeccable service quality and the smooth running of the works; you have to be constantly seeking innovation and continuous improvement, and be proactive at all levels. Ability to take over from the General Services Manager in his absence.

 

 

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • You have at least 3 years' higher education (ideally in facility management or building and civil engineering) and at least 4 years' solid professional experience.
  • You have a flair for quality of service, customer relations and results. You are capable of creating and improving operational management processes, and you are a caring and demanding person with impeccable interpersonal skills.
  • You are diplomatic and know how to interact with a variety of professions. You are rigorous, methodical and diligent
  • You have a good understanding of general services operations and logistics
  • You have good relations with suppliers and external service providers
  • You are familiar with safety, health and environmental regulations (SST, CSR)
  • You understand the challenges and ambitions of TANGRAM and are keen to contribute to its internal and external development
  • You must have some first notions of professional English (especially on the phone and in person)
