Administrative and Financial Manager - Tangram

TANGRAM opened its doors last May at Pointe Rouge in Marseille, in close proximity to the National Higher Maritime Education School (ENSM). The site covers more than 8500m2 and includes a central Bastide, over 22 training and meeting rooms, an Event Center (auditorium), an Innovation hub, a Café, and a Restaurant.

 

 

THE ROLE

 

Reporting to the Deputy Director of TANGRAM, your role will be essential in managing the administrative and financial operations of the center.

Your main objective will be to oversee the accounting, financial, and administrative aspects while ensuring coordination between the TANGRAM team, headquarters, and various external service providers on these subjects.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Financial management: developing, implementing, and monitoring financial processes and budgets, preparing and tracking financial projections, client billing, reporting to the parent company, managing administrative processes, expense tracking, tax compliance in collaboration with the accounting firm.
  • Accounting: overseeing general, client, and supplier accounting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, monthly and annual closures, implementing and monitoring the process of recharging costs to the parent company.
  • Planning: supporting the Operations team in planning and coordinating events
  • Personnel administration: collaborating with the parent company's HR for staff management, mobility, workforce tracking, ensuring compliance with labor laws, time management, relations with social organizations, preparing regulatory documents related to staff management, maintaining administrative records, managing travel and expense reports.
  • Purchasing support: monitoring purchases, participating in contract establishment and monitoring, ensuring the terms of contracts are met, supplier relationship management, measuring business unit satisfaction.

 

 

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Proven experience in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills, project management, problem-solving ability, with the capacity to handle multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with agility, engaging with various internal and external stakeholders and driving projects forward.
  • Attention to detail, rigor, customer service orientation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent command of English.
  • Sensitivity to the challenges of training and innovation.
