Alternance - Control Officer

THE ROLE :
 


You will analyze, make reliable and consolidate commercial, operational and financial information in order to give maximum visibility on the activity of the shipping line and thus allow for optimized decision-making in the various Group departments.
 

 


RESPONSABILITIES :
 


•    You assist the line manager on a daily basis in the management of his activity (implementation, monitoring and development of indicators specific to each line + studies).
•    In this capacity, you are in charge of producing the line's forecasted and actual results as well as establishing the budget.
•    You participate in the analysis of accounting/management discrepancies in order to identify possible operational problems and to control standards. You alert the manager in case of deviations affecting the accounts of the line.
•    You carry out studies and propose corrective measures to optimize the performance of the line.
•    You present summary financial information to management.
 

 


PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS :
 


•    You have a Master's degree in Finance / Accounting / Management.
•    You have a first experience in management control, ideally acquired within a large international group.
•    You are familiar with computer and office automation tools.
•    Your analytical and organizational skills, combined with your open-mindedness and good interpersonal skills, will be assets for success in this position.
•    Your English is operational.
