Apprenticeship - Business analyst R&D

THE ROLE :

 

The R&D Assets department studies and proposes technical and technological solutions with the aim of decarbonizing the CMA CGM Group's assets.
In this approach, it is in permanent contact with several departments of the group, such as the Energy Department, CSR, Finance, PULSE the Decarbonization Fund, CMA Ships, etc. Reporting to the  Financial and Administrative Manager, your main task will be to collect the functional requirements of the Admin & Finance department and manage cross-functional R&D projects. In particular, you will be responsible for managing the project to integrate the budget and track expenses by project in the management tool. To do this, you will need to understand the data sources, the different types of costs (internal, external technical assistance, technical studies, etc.), and anticipate their integration into the project management tool. You will work closely with the CMA CGM IT department, and the R&D department business controller.
At the same time, you will work with the business controller to support him in the deployment of projects linked to the management of the department and the automation of recurring tasks (monthly reporting, project commitment follow-up, quarterly closing, dashboards).
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES :
 
•  
 Launch and manage the project to integrate project costs into the management tool.
•    Launch and manage the automation of monthly financial reporting
•    Identify recurring tasks that can be automated
•    Set up a process to monitor the validity of confidentiality agreements
•    Implement automatic archiving of documents signed by our General Manager
•    For ad-hoc subjects, provide technical support for the development of internal departmental solutions.
 

 

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

 

Graduated from a university, business school or engineering school at Master 1 or 2 level. You have an interest in business management, coupled with project management and IT skills (programming, VBA). You're keen to make a commitment to decarbonization.
Ideally, you have :
•    Good Knowledge  of Pack Office (Word/Excel/Power Point)
•    Good knowledge of VBA programming
•    Knowledge of management control (full costing, provisions, monthly closings, allocations, inter-company re-invoicing, etc.).
You are responsive, adaptable, a good team player, proactive, organized, a good communicator and a good listener. You are fluent in French and English.
