Apprenticeship - Data Officer

THE ROLE :
 
Within one of the Shipping Lines Departments, you will be in charge of analyzing and developing tools for monitoring the sales performance of the department in charge of a specific geographical area.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Analyze and formalize WAF country scope market data. Link data to performance/fulfillment trends (Reports & analyses derived from network animation & market intelligence).
• Produce and update reports for management on the entire AWAF Central & South Range perimeter (Reports: Daily report Booking, Weekly AWAF, Weekly PERF by POD, others).
• Line pricing in line with HO / ARO pricing policy
• Segments concerned = Spot On, Aqua Contract, Spot VIP IFF, Monthly - Quarterly, Tenders.
• Performance monitoring by ship and performance monitoring by country budget on current ship sequences and on the Year To Date period + suggestions for corrective action arising from this monitoring.
• Weekly calls with agents under his scope to capture market intelligence or exploit business opportunities. 

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

Currently a Master student at a business or engineering school, you will ideally have completed an experience in a similar role. You have a very good level of written and spoken English. You are also very rigorous, analytical and curious. You have a high level of Excel skills, and knowledge of economics combined with an analytical mind will enable you to succeed in this mission.
