Business Analyst Bunkering

YOUR ROLE

 

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our Bunkering and Energy Transition team. The candidate will report to the Digital, Process and Innovation Manager. He/she will pilot the corrective and evolutive maintenance of all the applications used in the department, from business requirements to user acceptance tests. He/she will have to conduct complex data analyses, design, document and test new reports. Finally, the candidate will leverage his/her expertise to optimize business processes and operational efficiency.

 


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

 

  • Define and Validate Business Requirements and Change Requests:
    • Gather and document business requirement
    • Validate and prioritize change requests in alignment with business goals
    • Ensure that business requirements are clearly communicated and understood by the development teams

 

  • Data Analysis:
    • Qualify and validate data to ensure accuracy and completeness
    • Manage complex data analyses to support business decision-making
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

 

  • Prioritize and Follow-Up on Evolutive and Corrective Maintenance Activities:
    • Monitor, qualify and prioritize requirements and issues reported by users
    • Define workarounds to ensure business continuity
    • Follow up on the progress of evolutive and corrective maintenance tasks.

 

  • Test Scenarios, collaborate with key users to:
    • Define test scenarios for each software release
    • Execute test scenarios to ensure that software releases meet business requirements
    • Document and report test results to stakeholders.

 

  • Develop Key Users Network:
    • Provide training and support to key users to ensure effective utilization of systems and processes
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration among key users.

 

  • Business Process Documentation and Optimization:
    • Maintain business process documentation
    • Optimize business processes to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
    • Monitor impact on business performance.

 


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

 

  • Graduated from a Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
  • At least 3 years' experience as Business Analyst, preferably in the energy procurement or bunkering industry
  • Experience with Procurement (VMS/P2P) solutions, data science and data analytics tools (Qliksense)
  • Experience in creating interactive reports and dashboard (ideally on Qliksense)
  • Project management experience, PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus
  • Experience with software testing and quality assurance processes.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of energy transition initiatives and trends, bunkering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of business process optimization methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
