MISSION
Part of the Shipping activity of CMA CGM IT, role of INVOICE and DDSM team is to ensure the delivery of system added value changes to support the Business strategy and growth.
After collecting/qualifying and formalizing detailed Business requirement, INVOICING & DDSM team analyses it, clarify it, validates the solution and coordinates the delivery and plan for this need.
Business expert role will focus on the collection/qualification and formalization of the detailed need, along with the functional support and acting to coordinate and support development or Business team during delivery process and tests.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As a Business Expert, your commitments are:
- Coordination of all Business counterparts’ interventions on the domain subjects in a good and respectful atmosphere, Develop a strong and trust relationship with Business Units
- Help Business Units to prioritize their IT Requests within the overall IT roadmap, budget and capacity
- Capture/Qualify the Business Requirements from Business Units/POs and describe detailed Business Requirements (BRD) so that both Product Owners and other IT teams fully understand and validate the expressed need
- Help with arbitrations between Business Requesters and IT Departments and ensure transversal functional consistency of the Information System of the Group
- Validate Design Documents submitted by IT teams in accordance with Product Owners guidelines & take in charge General Designs when required
- Pilot on demand the delivery of small projects managed apart from the evolutive maintenance
- Ensure that deliveries correspond to the business requests expressed
- Liaise with the stakeholders to elaborate the RFP/RFI schedules, to prepare bidder lists, to qualify bidders, to prepare requests for quotation, and conduct evaluations.
- Provide regular, timely, effective and efficient reporting to Business Units and IT management
- Provide required support to Business testers during User Acceptance Testing
- Realize functional testing to validate developments delivered by technical teams
- Run functional analysis to cross check compared to existing system features
- Contribute to change management to support Business Units during the deployment of the requested implementations
- Act with a continuous improvement mindset
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management control or related disciplines OR Degree in Computer Science (MASTER)
- High relational skills to establish trustful relationships with Business team members
- Strong analytical skills to understand in detail needs expressed by Business, and to be able to read between the lines
- A knowledge of Finance, Accounting, Management control or related disciplines standards, laws or rules would be appreciated.
- Necessary IT-minded with good knowledge of V cycle (waterfall) project delivery process.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to work with different stakeholders and team members, oral and written, English language is mandatory and used 90% of the time
- Able to report clearly the situation, along with the key details, risks and the alerts.
- Ability to stay focused on and prioritize different tasks
- A good listener to receive all pain points coming from all stakeholders of delivery activities of INVOICING & DDSM domain and to identify the real underlying needs.
