Business Control - Shipping Operations Analyst

Job Description:
As a Business Controller within the Shipping Studies and Projects department, you will play a key role in collecting, analyzing, and reporting energy consumption data from our fleet's vessels. You will be the essential link between the vessels' information sources and management, providing accurate analyses and detailed reports to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:
•    Collect energy consumption data from vessels using various information sources.
•    Process and analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.

•    Develop and maintain dashboards and regular reports for management.
•    Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure data quality and accuracy.
•    Participate in the development of energy optimization and cost reduction strategies.
•    Provide recommendations based on data analyses to improve operational efficiency.
•    Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and internal standards.
    
Skills and Qualifications:
•    Previous experience in Shipping Lines (Business Controller, Commercial, Cargo Flow or OPS)

•    Skills in Excel and willingness to learn analysis tools (creating dashboard on Qliksense and using Snowflake)
•    Ability to make presentations in English.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
