MISSION:

 

Within the Customer Service team of the Marseille Agency, you are in charge of monitoring customer bookings and the operational implementation of transport until arrival at destination in accordance with the customer's expectations.

As a real interface between the customer and the internal teams (operations, documentation, sales), you are the guarantor of the quality of the service provided to customers.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

In this context, you will optimize the taking and follow-up of bookings by receiving customer requests, checking the commercial conditions previously set and confirming the completion as soon as possible.

 

You will be required to carry out the necessary checks with internal contacts (logistics, operations, cargo readiness, documentation, sales) in order to verify the feasibility of the request.

 

You are responsible for verifying the regulations relating to the goods and the country of destination, the availability of ship space, the conformity of containers, the feasibility of transport in the event of carrier haulage as well as the necessary elements for taxation.

 

For specialized goods (hazardous type/OOG/Breakbulk), you make sure to fill in the applications and get the necessary approvals.

 

You follow the course of operations and advise the customer on operational and documentary aspects and, if necessary, you provide them with possible solutions or alternatives for a booking confirmation according to their expectations.

 

Finally, you ensure compliance with the Quality, Safety and Security procedures in force in the company.

 

 

PROFILE AND SKILLS:

 

With a Bachelor's degree in International Trade or Logistics Transport, you ideally have at least 6 months' experience in the same type of position.

You are proficient and comfortable with computer tools.

Fluency in English is a plus to allow you to evolve independently in an international environment.

Your interpersonal skills are essential to communicate effectively with customers and internal contacts.

Your responsiveness, your analytical skills, your rigor and your sense of organization will be assets to succeed in this position.
