THE ROLE

Your main role will be to ensure the financial follow-up of chartering contracts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be informed and apply the financial terms (payment deadlines) of the charter parties.
• Draw up monthly financial statements.
• Prepare charter party rental payment deadlines.
• Check invoices in conjunction with negotiators and order payments.
• Monitor the collection of charter payments.
• Follow-up with any third-party debtors.
• Settle financial disputes with shipowners.
• Take charge of strategic financial files for the Management.
• Work on reports and statistics.

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Management.
• 2 years' professional experience in the shipping field would be a plus
• Fluent English
• Good command of IT and office automation tools
• Rigor, organizational skills and responsiveness
• Good team spirit
