Container Administration Officer

It will rely on strategic industrial and academic partners experts in the maritime industry (laboratories, companies, startups, shipyards, etc.).

YOUR ROLE 

 

Within our Container Logistics department, you will be responsible for monitoring Recourse activites (container damage) and coordinating the Agent network.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • You will act as the main point of contact for the global Recourse agent network, tasked with identifying third parties responsible for container damages. You will handle total loss declarations in compliance with current procedures.

  • You will also be in charge of developing commercial logistics offers related to Recourse, sold alongside Bookings. You will monitor revenue performance in your area and identify actions to optimize the application of these charges.

  • You will participate in the development and deployment of applications dedicated to Recourse activities, such as iRecovery and Qlik Sense.

  • Additionally, you will oversee the management and reporting of your area to your supervisor. You will identify key performance indicators to be implemented and adjust guidelines and procedures as needed.

  • On a daily basis, you will liaise with port agencies to track the progress of cases and interact with all stakeholders in CMA CGM's logistics chain, including Agents, Ports, Terminals, the Legal Department, the Commercial Team, and the Maintenance & Repair Department.

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

 

 

  • With a Master’s degree from an Engineering or Business School, you have prior experience in a similar role.
  • You are proficient in standard office tools and have excellent written and spoken English skills. Strong interpersonal skills are essential to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. Quickly autonomous, your organizational skills, rigor, and responsiveness will be key to your success in this role.
  • Possessing a logical and detail-oriented mindset, you are comfortable handling numerical data and working with IT tools.
  • Your proactivity and curiosity will enable you to excel in this position.
