Corporate Controlling Senior Manager

THE ROLE:

 

Reporting to the VP Controlling Group, you will be within the Finance Department and work closely with Operational staff and Support Functions.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1. Setting up the Group SG&A Financial Planning & Analysis
- Set up the team, processes and the tool for monitoring SG&A structural costs by Corporate Function 
- Standardise and integrate SG&A monitoring across the Group: KPIs, granularity, timetable, etc. 
- Leading and supporting the deployment of tools for producing recurring Cost by Function reports on a quarterly basis, in all the Group's BUs
- Analysing changes in the Group's consolidated SG&A, anticipating the risks of deviations from the budget and ensuring publication within the Group (Finance Department, COMEX)
- Ensuring that the management procedures and rules established by the Finance Department are applied: Instructions / Timetable / Content (KPIs) / Tools

 

2. Deploy the Control Tower for SG&A optimisation
- Leading SG&A cost optimisation programs using Continuous Improvement and Lean methodologies. Identifying the baseline of actionable costs, recommending efficiency actions and proposing targets
- Leading the review and optimisation of cross-functional processes, ensuring transparency on opportunities and challenges, and stakeholder alignment
- Monitor projects via the team to ensure that the roadmap is delivered. Anticipating risks and proposing corrective action
- Deploy the SG&A Group Reporting Dashboard
- Produce quarterly analyses of the progress of SG&A optimisation projects for the COMEX (target monitoring, post-mortem analyses and projections)

 

3. Simplify and automate 
- Work on simplifying FP&A processes and digitising Group SG&A reporting
- Develop and deploy a cost center system to support the Control Tower
- Work with Finance Transformation and HR departments to develop a common cost control tool for the organisation

 


PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

- Proven experience of around 15 years in Controlling in structured environments
- Experience of Project Management Office (PMO)
- Experience of cost optimisation & continuous improvement programs (e.g. Lean, Six-Sigma, agile methodology)
- Good level of written and spoken English required
- Good command of IT tools: Excel, PPT, QlikView, Qliksense
- Autonomous, initiative and analytical skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to involve stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organisational skills, rigour, ability to manage priorities
