EDI Business Analyst

YOUR ROLE

 

As an EDI business Analyst, you will be responsible to analyze all the EDI related requirements in shipping domain and effective on-board / maintain CMA CGM EDI Partners via EDI channel.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

 

•    Collect EDI requirements from business and advise them during the requirement phase
•    Provide expertise during the scoping phase, review and validate EDI specifications
•    Work with stakeholders (Internal teams and IT providers) and drive EDI partner boarding and enhancements, closely monitor the progress
•    Configure/setup EDI partner profiles and occasional developments when in need
•    Timely status update on on-boarding/enhancement progress to business team
•    Participate in testing phase and assist business during user acceptance tests 
•    Take the lead on critical incidents and coordinate the investigations 
•    Monitor the performance of the system and lead, action plans when it needs to be improved

•    Protocols: AS2, SFTP, FTPS
•    Deployment Tools: GIT, JENKINS, XLDeploy
•    IBM Technologies: IBM WebSphere Transformation, SBI, MQ
•    Databases: Oracle, PL/SQL
•    LINUX Ecosystem: Batch, Basis Sys admin command

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
 

•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
•    Experience: 7+ years working experience in EDI mapping using EDIFACT/ANSI X12 standards, preferably within the shipping or logistics industry.   
•    Shipping Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of shipping operations and EDI processes.
•    Strong knowledge in developing and deploying EDI mappings using tools like IBM WebSphere Transformation and setting up EDI.
•    Solid experience in the shipping and EDI field.
•    Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
•    Ability to take initiatives and work in autonomy
•    Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent ability to understand business requirements and translating it to IT solution
•    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
