YOUR ROLE
Under the responsibility of the « Business Plan, Financial Planning & Studies » manager, you are part of a team of 5 people in charge of setting up Group financial forecasts (budget and Long term), provide various analysis to deliver greater understanding to the management as well as provide support to financial presentations.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Budget process and reforecast:
- Organize and consolidate annual budgeting process in joint with Management control teams, to deliver Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash flow in IFRS Standards, including Debt & Investment Plan
- Ensure consistency between Management Result & IFRS Financial Statements Forecasts
- Long Term strategy (Business Plan):
- Provide the Group's long-term financial data (income statement, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts)
- Model shipping business plan, in line with group strategy, shipping market and operational inputs (fleet plan, savings plans, decarbonization, financing plan and impact of major investments)
- Consolidate the business plans of non-maritime activities (Logistics, Terminals, Media, Air, ...)
- Document operational and financial assumptions underlying the long-term forecasts
- Ad-hoc projects and studies:
- Calculate the monetary effects of potential business decisions,
- Provide support for any development projects (organic/external growth, Investment Committee)
- Benchmark Shipping Competitors
- Financial presentations:
- In close collaboration with other financial departments (Consolidation and Investor relations), prepare Group financial reporting packages (Board, Bank and investor, annual report …)
- IT financial transformation:
- Contribute to improve Business Plan application (OneStream), including necessary testing
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Master degree in Economics or Business Administration (Finance, accounting, business strategy) or Engineering
- Minimum 3-4 year experience in an Audit company, Bank or Finance Planning & Analysis
- High proficiency in Excel/ Access modeling and analytics required, experience in Visual Basic, SQL is a plus
- Fluent in English language both in written and spoken
- Good knowledge and understanding of GAAP/IFRS guidelines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, board or other outside partners
- Ability to work in a dynamic work environment
