Finance Project Officer

Context : 
In 2018, the CMA CGM Finance department has launched a major transformation program to become a Business Partner of the Group’s development. To this aim there were 2 pillars: boosting operational performance and driving financial performance. Moreover, CMA CGM has recently embarked into the diversification of its activities while addressing digital and environmental challenges, creating opportunity for Finance to reinforce is role as a Strategic Partner. This ambition is supported by three main enablers: digital capabilities, mindset and multiactivity vision.
In this context, the FiPP department (Finance Projects & Processes) has recently been created to support the Group’s Finance in its systems, process and organizational topics. You will join FiPP and specifically the Project Enabling team, whose mission is to support the department teams in successfully deliver FiPP projects.
As a Project Officer, you will coordinate various aspects of the projects from planning and initiation to implementation, reporting and closing. You will be highly involved in the Finance transformation projects of the Group and will work daily with a high number of stakeholders, in Marseille and across the worldwide Finance organization (Regional Offices, Local Agencies, Global Business Centers…).

Missions and responsibilities :
Transformation projects coordination  
Perform organizational and process diagnostics to identify pain points and bottlenecks. 
Identify areas for improvement to meet business expectations. 
Assist the business in designing target operating models. 
Ensure the application of the finance core model and support transitions to our internal offshore shared services centers (GBS or FiCOM). 
Assess the impact of proposed transformation scenarios to submit for arbitration. 
Propose and support change initiatives. 
Build and agree on a transformation roadmap. 

Transformation PMO  
Ensure governance and coordination with GBS and concerned countries. 
Lead communication actions accordingly. 
Monitor project progress and roadmap. 
Secure the delivery of the transformation plan. 
Ensure proper tracking of the transformation impact.

Finance population monitoring
Coordinate the Finance headcount budget in collaboration with HR and the network. 
Monitor Finance headcount variation on monthly basis to ensure conformity with the budget. 
Capture any additional headcount requirements to adjust the end-of-year target accordingly. 
Liaise with all relevant stakeholders (HR, Network, GBS) for any deviations. 
Produce forecasts and all related reporting. 

Profile and qualification 
With a first professional experience in Finance and/or in Project Management you capable of coordinating various stakeholders to ensure targets are met. 
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (fluency in English, both oral and written)
Ability to work autonomously and align overseas stakeholders
Rigorous with strong analytical skills
Reactive and proactive
