General Services Manager

YOUR ROLE :

 

Reporting to TANGRAM Management and under the responsibility of the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the running and coordination of logistics operations supporting all activities at the TANGRAM site.

Based at the TANGRAM site, you will supervise operations and services linked to the running of the site, participating in the management of all outsourced services, including technical maintenance of the building, services to occupants (cleaning, reception, etc.), energy supply and works management.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? :

 

  • Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance, safety and layout of the organization's premises and equipment. You ensure that facilities meet safety and functionality standards.
  • Contracts and Service Provider Management: Collaborate with suppliers and external service providers to help negotiate contracts, ensure the quality of services provided and optimize costs.
  • Employee Services Management: Provide services and facilities that support the well-being and productivity of participants in training courses and innovation seminars, such as cafeteria, rest areas, concierge services, cleanliness, reception, waste management, etc. Support occupants in their implementation (layout, allocation, occupancy) of new spaces ensuring post-installation support with the required level of excellence.
  • Budget planning: Participate in the development, management and respect of budgets for general services operations.
  • Team Management: Supervise and lead teams responsible for maintenance, security, logistics and other general services functions.
  • Supplies and Equipment Management: Oversee the management of inventories and purchases of office supplies, furniture and equipment required for the smooth running of the organization. Also, to supervise any renovation and fitting-out of workspaces.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all general services activities comply with current regulations, and with head office directives and procedures in terms of Purchasing, Finance, Ethics, Quality, Safety, etc. (in liaison with the head office Administration & General Services department).
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement to optimize the efficiency and quality of general services. Also participate in the implementation of reporting tools and site performance indicators (with the support of the Head Office Administration department). Implement a policy to manage/reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions and support the company's environmental labeling policy.

 

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Ideally, you have a 5-year higher education diploma (ideally in Facility Management or Building and Civil Engineering) with at least 10 years' experience.
  • You have a strong sense of service quality, customer relations and results. Capable of creating and improving operational management processes, you demonstrate leadership that is both benevolent and demanding.
  • Professional English imperative, written and oral (physical and telephone).
  • You have a good knowledge of technical tools for planning and monitoring technical maintenance and works activities (CMMS, BMS, Energy Management, ideally BIM).
  • You are diplomatic and able to interact with a variety of trades. You are rigorous in management and capable of innovation to improve the quality of the participant experience.
