INTERNSHIP - Container Sales Project Manager

Your missions:  

 

Within the Logistics Department based at the headquarters in Marseille, you will join the “Container Sales” department composed of 3 people and in contact with a network of Agents worldwide. With the objective of maintaining a young and profitable container fleet, CMA CGM sells its “aged” containers, meaning containers used for a certain number of years and also damaged containers that cannot be repaired. The Container Sales Department is responsible for the container sales strategy, minimizing evacuation or repair costs, and maximizing sales prices while giving a second life to old containers (circular economy). The Container Sales Department also manages agreements with more global players from the headquarters. It handles Agent billing and pricing grids. Thus, the Sales team at the headquarters plays a real role in animating the sales network and monitoring the sales performance of Agents. 

 

 

What will you do? 

 

  • Draft the specifications for the Sales Platform. 

  • Capture the functionalities expected by the Agents. 

  • Interact with IT teams to explain business needs. 

  • Conduct Tests and create User Guides. 

  • Analyze sales data to measure Agent performance and define corrective actions. 

  • Conduct confidential audits in certain countries. 

 

 

What are we looking for? 

 

  • You have a higher education degree such as a Master 2 or 3rd year of engineering school with a specialization in Projects, Tools, Innovation, IT, or Logistics. 

  • Ideally, you have experience in implementing business tools or creating reports. You are proficient in IT tools, especially Excel. 

  • You demonstrate good analytical, synthesis, and teaching skills. 

  • You quickly show autonomy, proactivity, rigor, curiosity, and adaptability. 

  • You are bilingual in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate with English-speaking colleagues. 

  • You have team spirit, good interpersonal skills, and excellent communication.
