INTERNSHIP - North America Line Operations Officer

Your missions 

 

You will join the North America Line Operations Department, which aims to ensure the smooth running of ship operations. The department operates with partnerships, and the objective of the internship will be to manage relations with partners. 

 

 

What will you do? 

 

  • Supervise the work of a team based in India, 

  • Update the schedules of partner ships based on the information received from partners, and challenge partners if necessary, 

  • Produce various statistics and analyses (speeds, consumption, port call times, etc.). 

 

 

What are we looking for? 

 

  • You have a higher education background, such as BAC+4 / BAC+5 from a university or a Business School with a specialization in logistics, international trade, or maritime transport, or from a general engineering school. 

  • You are proficient in computer tools (Excel, Word, Internet, Outlook, etc.) and have a good capacity for IT adaptation. 

  • You have data exploitation skills. 

  • You have theoretical knowledge of international transport and an interest in maritime trade/transport. 

  • You are bilingual in English, able to read, write, and communicate with English-speaking colleagues. 

  • You are autonomous and rigorous. 

  • You have a team spirit, good interpersonal skills, and excellent communication.
