IT Project Manager

The center will increase the company’s capacity for technological and scientific innovation necessary to meet its strategic objectives (decarbonization, digitalization…), while generating profitability and ensure a high visibility on the Group’s commitment to industry’s energy transition. It will rely on strategic industrial and academic partners experts in the maritime industry (laboratories, companies, startups, shipyards, etc.).
YOUR ROLE
As a project director, your role is initially focused on CMA CGM’s Terminals Greenfields. You will also be given additional subsidiary tasks related to other CMA CGM IT marine terminal projects worldwide. You will provide project leadership, alignment, and execution oversight across the terminal’s strategy development & execution and operating model processes.
It is your sole role to implement a robust and innovative strategy for the terminal and subsequently manage all projects phases of design, implementation, testing, training, go-live and post go-live support of the concerned strategy regarding the all IT Infrastructure, Network, Datacenters, Security, Terminal Operating System, Finance System, CMMS&HR Systems, Organization, ....
Being the head of all the projects, you are expected to operate with significant independence and minimal supervision of the management.
You are part of CMA CGM’s IT Terminals Group and report directly to the Head of the IT Terminals Group.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Provide leadership, through strategic direction and active engagement, to align the terminal’s IT strategy development and execution process with Corporate strategy requirements and outcomes.

Assess projects requirements, manage the completion, identify and manage projects resources, preparing and presenting proposals and recommendations to senior management.

Ensure that the terminal’s systems and the information on them are protected in accordance with Information Protection Policies and Standards.

You monitor progresses, provides financial control and ensures quality of the Program.

You are responsible for ensuring that project managers:

Manage the project team including engineers, consultants, developers and support.

Develop schedules and budgets for assigned projects.

Identify and evaluates alternative solutions to best meet program goals.

Prepare detailed schedules, cost estimates and documentation for procurement authorization.

You ensure the Program is completed within budgets and schedules while meeting business needs, objectives and design guidelines.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A minimum of 10 years of experience in the direct management of large, complex projects with responsibility for design, implementation coordination, project scheduling and budget control.

At least 8 years professional IT leadership experience working in the marine container terminal or container dry port industry is a big advantage.

Mobility as business trips in Terminals are necessary.

Must be able to fluently speak/read/write in English.

PMI certification and other advanced training is preferred.

Voluntary IT certification in operating systems and other IT technology products is an advantage. Industry-neutral certifications like those offered by the Computing Technology Industry Association, Project Management Institute or the Security Certified projects are an advantage.
