Internship - Commercial Specialized Cargo/ Sales support Coordinator

Within the Lines and Commercial Department, the Value Added Service team is responsible for developing complementary services and managing the associated product catalog, CMA CGM+. Historically, we have provided various services to our customers that allow them to choose specific containers better suited to their cargo or to prepare containers to meet their specific needs. These services are now offered as Value Added Services (VAS) in the Cargo Care category.

 

 

ROLE:

 

Within the Military & Defense Cargo team, you contribute to the development of a range of VAS products aimed at providing our customers with additional services through a better selection of containers (container grade, nomination, etc.) or the preparation of containers (humidity control, fumigation, etc.). You work closely with the Product Manager Cargo Care to ensure the commercial and operational success of these products by coordinating relevant resources within the Group and with Suppliers.

 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

•    Support the commercial strategy: participate in developing pricing policies, segmentation, and marketing strategies 

•    Assist in performance management: assist in monitoring and reporting results in collaboration with Product Manager Cargo Care
•    Participate in operational execution: contribute to decisions regarding service levels versus commercial aspects, identify opportunities and risks, and assist in defining and implementing relevant action plans.
•    Contribute to product design and vision: provide input into the product vision and contribute to product creation, evolution and innovation 
•    Participate in designing training and awareness actions to promote internal understanding and the ability to sell the offers

 


PROFILE & QUALIFICATION:

 

•    Business School Master's degree or in commercial field

•    Ideally a first experience in sales, negotiation
•    A strong desire to learn and adapt to the field of Value Added Services (VAS)
•    Ability to contribute to the development of a product range and strategy
•    Knowledge in logistics topics is a plus
•    Know-how with different types of customers and their needs
•    Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

•    Dynmism, rigor, organisation, agility, reactivity, customer oriented, good writing skills
