Internship - Contracts Legal Counsel

THE ROLE:

 

As a member of CMA CGM's Contracts and Projects Legal Department, you will support the Legal Manager of the Contracts division and his colleagues in their day-to-day work in the area of contract and business law.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Reporting to the General Counsel of the Contracts and Projects Division of the Group Legal Department and providing support to the team's lawyers, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, both in France and internationally, in a wide variety of fields (energy, NICT, digital, communication & sponsorship, infrastructure, R&D, etc.) for the Group's various activities and companies in a wide variety of sectors.
  • You will also provide support to the team through your legal research and drafting of memos, and will be responsible for monitoring legal developments in contract law or any other area relating to the department's activities.

 

 

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Master 2 or DJCE student, specialising in business law/contracts or international business law, or student lawyer, ideally with a degree from a business school or LLM.
  • Your rigour, organisational skills, team spirit, writing skills, ability to analyse and summarise and curiosity are all assets that will enable you to successfully carry out the tasks assigned to you throughout this internship.
  • Your written and spoken English is fluent. You have a perfect command of IT tools, particularly Word and Power Point.
