Internship - ESG Controller

YOUR ROLE

 

Sustainable Finance department is a new department in charge of the elaboration of the first extra financial reporting in 2026 closely with CSR department and drive the transformation of the business model. The team is very limited because you will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams across the organization. You will quickly build a professional network through daily contact with a wide range of departments across functions and geographies within the Group. 

 

As an ESG Controller, you will be a key team player to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of this first ESG reporting especially on Financial KPIs and impacts, while also identifying and executing opportunities for improving our ways of working. 

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ? 

 

  • Follow-up on the executing roadmap to build the reporting processes at the group level 

  • Complete and ensure accurate and unbiased reporting to key decision-makers 

  • Serve as a competent advisor on reporting and consolidation issues for different businesses' finance and reporting functions 

  • Collaborate and play a key role in implementing the CSRD reporting requirements and EU taxonomy 

  • Drive and ensure the execution of ad hoc initiatives and participating in projects as the implementation of Internal Carbon price, E-P&L, Opportunity Cost etc … 

  • Challenge existing processes to improve, automate, and reduce non-value-adding activities 

  • Facilitate the audit process and assurance of ESG reporting  

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ? 

 

  • You are following a higher education degree in finance, such as a Master’s degree, with a specialization in ESG being an additional asset. 

  • You have strong functional knowledge in consolidation and reporting, which is essential for this role, along with a strong control-oriented mindset. 

  • Knowledge and experience with CSRD and the European taxonomy would be advantageous but are not mandatory. 

  • You have a solid understanding of data auditing and controlling, with a strong interest in developing your skills in sustainability reporting. 

  • Your English is fluent and operational, which is a requirement for collaborating with international colleagues. 

  • You are open to collaboration, capable of bringing structure, and skilled at driving improvements while maintaining rigorous controls. 

  • You are a confident communicator and enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders across the organization. 

  • You thrive on achieving goals, taking ownership of your assignments, and working in a dynamic environment where you must manage competing priorities.
