Internship - Financial Internal Control

YOUR ROLE

 

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Financial Internal Control at Headquarters, you will contribute to the implementation and management of internal control within the financial network. Your role will involve applying Group guidelines to strengthen the security of financial processes and organization, aiming to minimize associated risks. 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ? 

 

  • Ensuring compliance with external regulations, including international economic sanctions and the French anti-corruption law, Sapin II. 

  • Supporting the implementation of various projects to maintain a robust internal control environment within the Group. 

  • Designing, developing, and implementing automated financial and accounting controls within the Group's new ERP system, as well as specific controls related to the company’s shipping and corporate activities. 

  • Defining KPIs for specific indicators and processes. 

  • Defining business requirements and monitoring projects, whether developed internally or through external providers, to ensure the delivery of identified solutions. 

  • Managing testing phases, analyzing results, and investigating findings. 

  • Identifying false positives in testing to fine-tune existing tools. 

  • Contributing to surveillance activities on the Group’s internal control platform, including database updates and defining or adapting test plans for controls already implemented on the platform. 

  • Assisting in drafting or revising accounting and financial procedures. 

  

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ? 

 

  • You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree with a specialization in finance and/or audit. 

  • You have prior experience in audit (internal/external) or internal control, ideally within a multinational company (a plus). 

  • You have proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. 

  • You are fluent in French and English (one of the interviews will be conducted in English). 

  • You are dynamic, proactive, and results-oriented. 

  • You have strong analytical and synthesis skills. 

  • You possess a team spirit and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
